Description

CONTACT David Savitsky, AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN, (732) 532-1627. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for manufacture of Mount, NSN: 5975-01-465-1268, P/N 822-1479-001 for use with R-2594, P/O AN/ARN-147 VOR/ILS/MB Radio Receiving Set. The current source for this mount is Rockwell-Collins, CAGE 13499. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Mount allows use of AN/ARN-147 VOR in place of AN/ARN-123 VOR without modification of a ircraft. Suppliers capable of providing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-AN, Building 1200E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results and data showing phy sical and functional interchangeability with P/N 822-1479-001. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
