Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to upgrade the software and hardware to expand the capability of the Taiwanese Army Generator Test Stand, Model 2002. The Generator Test Stand was originally developed for the Taiwanese Army and is currently located in Taiwan. It was originally designed to test the Engine Accessory Generator, P/N 214-175-150-105, NSN 2925-01-256-7287 and Voltage Regulator, P/N 214-175-153-105, NSN 5963-01-302-4449 on the AH-1W Aircraft. NAWCADLKE is now currently looking to expand the capabilities of the Model 2002 to also test the following: Starter P/N 214-060-056-103, NSN 2925-01-290-6517, Starter P/N 214-060-056-107, NSN 2925-01-408-2088 and Starter P/N 214-060-056-109, NSN 2925-01-476-3224. NAWCADLKE intends to include an option CLIN for a new Test Stand with the capability to test the current capablities of Model 2002, as well as, the proposed expanded capabilities or upgrade version. Any prospective bidders must propose to both the upgrade and new test stand option. The components that make up the Generator Test Stand, Model 2002 are Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) items. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. This acquisition will be procured through full and open competition. Hard copies of solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors. The Government will NOT accept electronic offers. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select ?Business?, then ?Doing Business With Us? and ?Open Solicitations?. Also look for amendments, which will be posted on the web page. Solicitation No. N68335-05-R-0002 will be issued approximately 29 October 2004 on the NAVAIR homepage.
