Description

The purpose of this contract is to procure services: A. to implement Private Sector Growth and Employment Generation support activities in Iraq in the following areas: 1.Restructuring/Privatization 2.Investment Promotion 3.Trade Policy and Market Access 4.Development of Business Management skills 5.Capital Market Development 6.General Policy Implementation B. to promote development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) and provide training and expert advice to eligible, creditworthy private enterprises in order to achieve: 1.Sustainable and Profitable Small and Medium Business Lending through Banks in Iraq; 2.Sustainable Microfinance Industry; 3.Policy and Legal Reform and a favorable business environment for the MSME Sector. NAICS Code 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The preferred method of distributing the USAID Procurement information will be through Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The RFP is issued on July 15, 2004 and proposals are due in Amman, Jordan on August 15, 2004. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation to ensure that it has been received in its entirety and USAID bears no responsibility for data error(s) resulting from downloading.
