- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial laundry service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA9301-04-T-0055. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24 and DFAR’s Change Notice (DCN) 20040625. This acquisition is Unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812320. This acquisition is for Laundry Service with Three (3) Baisic Year and Two (2) –One Year Options, CLIN 0001, Basic Year, Period of Performance is 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2004, CLIN 1001, BasicYear Two (2), Period of Performance is 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, CLIN 2001, Base Year Three (3), Period of Performance is 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007, CLIN 3001, Option Year Three (3), Period of Performance is 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, CLIN 4001 Option Year Four (4), Period of Performance is 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with Attachment One (1) Statement Of Work Date 24 August 2004 and Technical Exhibit One (1) two pages, Dated 24 August 2004. ADD STATEMENT OF WORK AND TECHNICAL EXHIBIT ONE. STATEMENT OF WORK LODGING LAUNDRY Dated 24 August 2004 1. General 1.1 Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all management, labor, tools, facilities, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the following service: The contractor shall perform laundry service of government owned items. All items shall be picked up and delivered in accordance with Technical Exhibit 1, figure #1. The contractor shall receive, count, process and return all organizational and individual laundry items tendered form cleaning in accordance with Technical Exhibit 1, figure #2 Standard packing Lodging Laundry. 1.2 Hours of Operations: The contractor shall begin deliveries no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and complete all deliveries no later than 1l: 00 a. m. 1.2.1 Holiday Procedures: When a holiday is declared or celebrated on a normal Monday through Friday, the services required by this contract shall be performed on the next regular workday. TECHNICAL EXHIBIT 1 STANDARD ITEMS & PACKAGING LODGING LAUNDRY Dated 24 August 2004 1. Please refer to figure #1 is our list of items that we require routine laundry and cleaning service for at High Desert Inn. Any additional packaging or bundling will be specified at the time service is requested. 3. Pick up and deliver take place at the respective lodging facilities identified in figure #2.
