Description: The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Fort Collins, CO intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with the Lower Yellowstone Irrigation Project Board of Control (LYIPBOC), Sidney, MT for some work at the USDA, ARS, Northern Plains Agricultural Research Laboratory, Sidney, MT. The LYIPBOC is a public non-profit corporation acting solely under Title 85, Chapter 7 of Montana State Government. The intended project is to close a section of LYIPBOC open drain and to establish an additional point of delivery for Farmunit #388. LYPBOC is the only entity authorized to work on their irrigation canal system regardless of whose property it may be on.
