Description: Supply regular size sandbags, sand, labor to stack as directed. . Canvas material is needed to cover sandbag walls adjacent to living quarters. Quantities are estimated. The canvas material shall be form-fitted to the walls. Canvas shall be placed over newly constructed walls to preserve them from the sun?s UV rays. Sandbag walls that require reconstruction shall be replaced before canvas cover is placed over the walls. Sandbags provided under this contract shall be 1,200 hr UV protection treated. Contractor shall warranty the bags against weather deterioration for a period of 6 months from placement of the bag. Deterioration is described as a significant amount of sand escaping from the bag due solely to the effects of the weather. Physical damage caused after bag placement is not covered.
