TYPE OF AWARD: This RFP is Unrestricted and all responsible businesses may respond. All proposals are due in on or about 19 Nov 04/1300 hrs (1:00 pm PST). Please check solicitation and any amendments thereto for exact due date/time. All offers sh all be in the English language and in US dollars. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: R499, SIC Code: 7389, NAICS Code: 541410. The size standard for this code is $6,000,000.00. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide Interior Design/Space Planning services for the Sacramento District US Army Corps of Engineers. Interior design and space planning proje cts will require the Interior Designer to be physically located in the Logistic Management Office at 1325 J Street, Suite 110, Sacramento CA 857814-29822, in order to receive work assignments and interact with customers. The interior designer/space planne r will need to provide comprehensive office furniture environment through the ability to create a variety of workstation configurations including interconnection structural panels as central integrating elements or may employ rails, beams, frames, uprights , cores, or freestanding-based elements. Reconfiguration and Relocation Services: For furniture systems to include the range of services that are necessary to allow users to reconfigure up to a maximum of 200 workstations within the existing on-site proj ect area. Reconfiguration involved in the disassembling and reassembling of components & may involve minor or major changes within the existing workstations/furniture layout plan. Interior design services will include a wide range of services, and are in tended to assist users in projects of office planning. Service may include basic conversion of generic workstations and floor plans to brand-specific or comprehensive design services including development of adjacencies, workstation design and floor plans . Design/layout services may include use of CAD/CAP systems for development of electrical, phone and cable plans, and generation of color and installation plans. Other assignments may involve performance of office and field interior design duties in cluding in-house design, review of projects designed by Architect-Engineers firms, and resolution of interior design problems encountered during project construction, and support for equipment procurement contracts. Projects include but not limited to lib raries, dining facilities, training facilities, visitor centers, as well as other administrative and public use building for the USACE. The projected services to be performed will be for a base year period and two option years with optional line items for additional days and hours per week. Look for the Solic itation that you are interested in and click on it. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation, you are required to register for the plan holders' list. Look for the blue bar that says, SOLICITATION REGISTRATION. Right below is a red bar that says, REGISTER FOR THIS SOLICITATION, - click on it. The next page requires you to establish a user name and password. If you have previousl y accessed the web page, you can gain access by entering your User Name and Password. If this is your first time, establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on our plan holders lists. With our new system, you only have to do the full registration one time. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 21 Oct 04. Along the bottom of the page, there is a bar that says DOWNLOAD/VIEW SOLICITATION FILES. Select SPECIFICATIONS from the drop down box and press the red GO button. This will take you to y et another page; under the blue bar that reads SPECIFICATIONS, there is another section titled, FILE NAME. Click on the file name and the .pdf file will open via Adobe Acrobat. All responsible (small) business sources may submit a bid, which will be c onsidered by the agency.
