Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, AZ , approximately three (2) areas in Arizona and one location in California, has a requirement for solid waste removal on an as required basis, The contractor must supply the necessary personnel and comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Contractor shall, without any additional expense to the Bureau of Reclamation be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits. Materials may include but not limited to: antifreeze, batteries, paints, empty drums, or used oil or used oil contaminated with gasoline, water, or dirt. The Request for Proposal No. 04SP340204 will identify the specifics for this requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562112. This acquisition is Full and Open. The RFP is issued via ideasec.nbc.gov. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be 9:00 am on October 21st. However, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The Government reserves the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if the website becomes inoperable or in the Contracting Officer determines it is in the Government's best interest to do so. Offerors should register on the website to be included on the offerors list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the solicitation, in order to access the solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Failure to register in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The Central Contractor Registration Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
