Description
NAVFAC Charleston intends to issue a Request for Quotation, RFQ, for pump grease traps, pump oil/water separators, pump septic tanks, and pump bilge water at Naval Air Station, Key West, FL. The work includes all contractor-furnished labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental related work. The Contractor shall service all tanks and traps using the best commercial practices. All materials and workmanship shall be subject to inspection and approval of the Contracting Officer or his representative. The purchase order will be a combination firm fixed-price, FFP, and indefinite deliver-indefinite quantity, IDIQ. The purchase order will be issued for a base year, with four one-year option periods. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE CONDUCTED AS A 100 PERCENT SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of $23 Million. The anticipated workload is between $15,000.00 and $19,000.00 per year, FFP and IDIQ. The Government intends to make a single award to the acceptable offeror whose total offer on all items is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and technical factors. Evaluation criteria include such factors as Past Performance, Corporate Experience, Management, Technical Approach/Method, and Price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency in response to this solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about 22 Oct 2004 with solicitation responses due on or about 19 Nov 2004. The entire solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holders? list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. It is the responsibility of interested parties to independently review this web page frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration, CCR, in order to participate in this procurement.
