- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region has a requirement to provide armed security guard services at the two (2) following locations: (1) CHICAGO ??? TRACON, 1100 Bowes Road, Elgin, Illinois 60123 and (2) Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), 619 West New Indian Trail Road, Aurora, IL 60506. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment (other than Government furnished equipment), uniforms, transportation and supervision to provide armed security guard services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and all holidays. Performance will be for an initial period of nine (9) months and four (4) option years. Company must be licensed in the State of Illinois, prior to award and have at least five (5) continuous years experience in armed guard services and have an active business office for a minimum of one (1) year in the state of Illinois and be within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of Elgin, IL and Aurora, IL. Services will commence January 1, 2005. At the discretion of the FAA award will be made to either one (1) or two (2) contractors. NAICS Code is 561612.
