- Description
- The U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency is performing a market survey to determine the availability/interest of companies who can provide and manage a HAZMAT trained and qualified workforce of 6-10 workers at the U.S. Army Seneca Enclave in Romulus, New York, beginning in February 2005. Work would involve unpacking, inspecting, and re-packing for transportation of pallets of Decontaminating Solution Number 2 (DS2). The contractor's team would augment an existing Government workforce at the Enclave. Various HAZMAT qualified warehousing, material handling, packaging and management companies operating in the area may be interested in this work. The Enclave is located on the former Seneca Army Depot Activity. Former Army employees still living in the area may be a source of manpower. The total duration of the work is expected to be 8 to 15 months. Responses are required by 27 October 2004. Interested parties should contact Elaine Millard, 410-436-8612, e-mail: elaine.millard@apg.army.mil
