Description

The US Army Research, Engineering and Development Center, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hunter Manufacturing of Cleveland, OH, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a), Only one responsible source and no o ther supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, sub-paragraph (ii) Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for continued development or production (etc.), a quantity of 5 each, 60 KBTU, Space Heater Convective (SHC) in need of refurbishment and repairs. These units need to be completely refurbished to include all design changes resulting from demo evaluations. Hunter Manufacturing shall also fix damaged parts and resolve design is sued identified during the technical evaluations.
