- This notice (USA-SNOTE-041008-003)is re-issued to make the text of the notice readable. The United States Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (USARDECOM) the TankAutomotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC) will host a Fuel Cell Industry Day November 02 -03, 2004 in San Antonio, Texas concurrently with the Fuel Cell Seminar in San Antonio. U. S. A. RDECOM - TARDEC will conduct one-hour briefing sessions during the evenings of November 2nd and 3rd. The schedule and location of the Fuel Cell Industry Day briefing information will be made available at t he U. S. Army Communication, Electronic, Research and Development Centers (CERDEC) booth at the Fuel Cell Seminar. GOAL: The goal of the Fuel Cell Industry Day is to lay out TARDECs specific program, objectives, and the acquisition strategy that will be utilized in order to help achieve the overall program goals. TECHNICAL OBJECTIVE: Within the next 3-5 years Trades overall goal for the Fuel Cell program is to develop and test, in a laboratory environment, an integrated 5-20 kW APU system prototype, which is designed for military applications,. Onboard reformati on of JP-8 fuel is the main focus of this research and development effort. Questions from Fuel Cell Industry Day briefings will be collected at the end of each session.
