PRON: AX4C0695AX, NSN: 3040-01-117-7362, PN: 145C3340-11, Quantity: 56 Each minimum/280 each maximum 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity requirement applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, FOB destination with delivery to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery is 56 each, 385 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with First Article and 56 each, 267 DACA without First Article. The First Article Test Report is due 255 DACA. This item is restricted to Boeing Company, Cage Code 77272 a nd Western Sky Industries, Cage Code 34742, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowle dge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualifica tion Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; howev er, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
