Pedro Ridge Trail #917 Construction/Reconstruction on the Powell Ranger District, Clearwater National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho. Work involves 0.2 miles of contruction (relocation) and 4.8 miles of reconstruction. Included is rebuilding tread, installing erosion control devices, and rebuilding hazardous puncheon bridges. Motorized equipment may not be allowed on this wilderness contract. This project may be advertised in 2005. This project is located in the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness. It is 152 miles east of Lewiston on Highway 12. Cross the packbridge and take Warm Springs Trail #49 approximately seven miles to Pedro Trail #917 (T. 35 N., R. 13 E., Section 4) where project work begins at station 0+00. Estimated price range: $25,000 - $100,000. Est. start work June 15, 2005. THIS PROJECT IS POSSIBLE, BUT IT IS NOT CERTAIN IT WILL BE DONE BY CONTRACT. ALL INTERESTED QUOTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO VIEW THE SITE THIS FALL, AS THIS PROJECT MAY BE ADVERTISED PRIOR TO SNOW MELT IN THE SPRING OF 2005.
