Description

Provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment, and materials and perform all work in accordance with the specifications and plans required for Grounds Maintenance at Yakima Training Center (YTC), Yakima, Washington. The services to be performed under th is contract are for YTC located adjacent to the City of Yakima, Washington. Locations are further described in the solicitation area site maps. Solicitation W911S8-05-R-0003 applies. This is a firm fixed-price type contract. Services to include mowing, tri mming, grounds-cleanup, lawn-edging, aeration, dethatching, restoration of dethatched areas, weed and disease control, removal of grass from pavement areas, watering of lawns and woody landscape plants, fertilization of turfgrass, and pruning of tress and shrubs. Improved lawn area is approximately 40.6 acres. Semi-improved lawn area is approximately 310.9 acres. Contract period is for one(1) base year (01 April 2005 through 31 March 2006) and four(4) one-year option periods. The proposed acquisition is a 1 00 percent small business set-aside.
