- U. S. Army Field Support Command (AFSC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all necessary management, supervision, inspection, qualified personnel, labor, materials, repair parts, tires, batteries, petroleum products, specialized tools and equipment (general and specialized), clothing, safety equipment and apparel required to control, operate, service, repair and maintain various types of equipment and vehicles located at Tooele Army Deport (TEAD) and Deseret Chemical Depot (DCD), both in Ut ah. AFSC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-05-R-3001. This contract will be restricted to small businesses under NAICS 811310 with $6M as the small business classification. The Government intends to award a contract with both firm fixed price and t ime and material clins. This service will cover a 1 year base period with four 1 year option periods. Option periods will be evaluated. The RFP will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army .mil on or about 15 Nov 2004 with opening 30 days from issuance. The Government intends to hold a pre-bid conference/site visit with prospective offerors at Tooele Army Ammunition Plant. This conference will take place approximately 2 weeks after the RFP has been posted to the web and prior to the specified closing date. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies ar e available.
