- This information is for solicitation SP0100-04-R-0185. There are two items in this solicitation. Item 1: Coat, Man?s, P/W, Serge, AF Shade 1620. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8405-01-375-5649 (S). The specification is MIL-C-31006, dated 18 Feb 1994, amendment 1 dated 25 Apr. 1994. The pattern date is 31 Jul. 1997. The base purchase quantity MIN 10,008/MAX 50,784 with four (4) additional options with a purchase quantity of MIN 12,000/MAX 67,104. Item 2: Coat, Woman?s, P/W, Serge, AF Shade 1620. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8410-01-378-0030 (S). The specification is MIL-C-31005 dated 5 Oct. 1994. The pattern date is 31 December 1996. The base purchase quantity is MIN 5,112/MAX 27,042 with four (4) additional options with a purchase quantity of MIN 5,112/MAX 27,042. Materials used in the fabrication of both end items are to be furnished by the contractor with the exception of the basic fabrics (Cloth, P/W, Serge, Blue AF Shade 1620, Type 3, Class 4 Sponged, 9.5 oz. 60? width. The applicable NSN is 8305-01-376-9471. The storage facility is Burlington Industries, Hurt, VA, which will be provided as Government Furnished Material (GFM). The first deliveries for both items are 120 days after date of award. The destinations for both items are (W25G1U) the Defense Depot New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113-114, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001, and (W62G2T) the Defense Depot San Joaquin, 25600 South Chrisman Road Receiving, Warehouse 10, Tracy, CA. 95304-5000. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business/Set Aside and will result in a firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract. This is a Best Value acquisition with Source Selection Procedures. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: Product Demonstration Model (PDM), Experience/Past Performance, and DLA Mentoring Business Agreement. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. Reference Numbered Notes 1, 9, and 26. (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
