F - - Ranch Hazardous Fuels Reduction Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: RFP R3-WZ-5-004 Posted Date: October 14, 2004 Response Date: November 29, 2004 Archive Date: Classification Code: F?Natural Resources & Conservation Services Contracting Office Address: Description: The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licenses, certificates necessary to perform cutting and chipping or shredding of chaparral and small trees on the Prescott National Forest. Work consist of completing the task/subtask in Section V to the performance requirements. The Ranch Hazardous Fuels Reduction project site can be accessed by, traveling East on HWY (highway) 69 from Prescott, Arizona. Mileage is approximately .5 miles to the Ranch Trailhead, on the right (West). Access will be gained along closed Road 9401X to the project site. Treatment blocks border the community on the South and East. Legal description: Township 13 North, Range 1 West, Sections 6 and 7. Township 12 North, Range 2 West, Section 12. The solicitation will be available on or about October 29, 2004 with offers due November 29, 2004. The estimated start work date is January 2005 with 90 days of contract time. NAICS Code is 115310. The project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
