- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting for quotes under Solicitation No. RFQ 786-20-05. This announcement is for a solicitation for commercial items, and the intent is to award a Performance Based Service contract to a small business for the Baton Rouge National Cemetery, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70801. The intended contract will include grounds maintenance (pressure washing, mowing, trimming, weed eating, edging, removal of leaves and debris, sweeping and/or blowing off of roads and sidewalks, trash and debris removal, turf maintenance, plant and tree maintenance, headstone cleaning and maintenance, sunken grave repair, grave excavation and backfilling, placement of grave flags and ceremonial flags and the setting up chairs and associated items for Memorial Day ceremonies, cleaning and sanitizing of public restrooms and the cleaning and organizing of the maintenance building. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be issued on or around October 18, 2004 with a receipt of quotations date of Nov 8, 2004, 4:30 PM (COB) local time, and will be issued as a service under NAICS code 812220 (Cemetery Facilities Maintenance Services) with a small business size standard of $6,000,000 annual revenue. Solicitation packages will be available electronically and in hard copy. If a hard copy is requested, then it must be in writing and can be forwarded either by mail, facsimile at (703) 441-7025 or by e-mail at the address noted below. All written requests shall contain the Contractor's full company name, complete address, telephone number, facsimile number, contact person, company's tax identification number and company's DUNS number. All Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Small Veteran Owned Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and HUBZone Certified Small Business are encouraged to participate in this solicitation. This contract action is intended to cover a base year with three (3) one year option periods. All Contractors are also encouraged to enter their company information onto the Mailing List included in this solicitation (you can do this by clicking on the solicitation number under Additional Information below, and going to the bottom of the solicitation summary that appears and enter all information into the area indicated
