Description

U S Army Field Support Command (AFSC) has a requirement for the collection and removal of refuse for several buildings located at Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, Kentucky. This collection and removal shall include the furnishing of all equipment, t ools, supplies, and labor. AFSC intends to issue a Request for Quote, W52P1J-05-Q-3000. This solicitation shall be issued as unrestricted under NAICS 562111 with a $10.5M small business classification. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price c ontract. This service will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year option periods. The RFQ will be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and/or http://www.eps.gov on or about October 29, 2004 with opening date approx 30 d ays from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD contract. You may register via t he Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Interested firms are invited to submit quotes after this solicitation has been posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any amendments to the soli citation. No hard copies will be available.
