Description
The US Army National Ground Intelligence Center has a requirement for engineering services for the Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) and is seeking information about the market resources. TMAP is a standardized methodology for performing w eapon system analysis and for capturing the analytical results in a common dynamic (i.e., executable) rather than static format that can be easily shared among analysts and support conversion into customer-specific simulation or database formats. This requirement is to continue initial efforts to support the modeling of the various ground weapon system models that the NGIC is responsible for. These models will provide the means by which NGIC analysts will conduct their assessments, share results, and satisfy customer requirements. Specific elements of this requirement include: " The development of an overarching architecture defining the structure of the models, their interrelationships, and the principles and guidelines governing their design, interoperability and evolution over time. " The design, production and testing of selected foreign weapon system models to be used as an intelligence baseline for defining threat systems and customization or enhancement of new or existing foreign ground force weapon system models to meet specific external customer requirements. " The need to integrate new or existing foreign ground force weapon system models with databases, models produced outside of this contract, hardware- or human-in-the-loop systems, or the High Level Architecture. These models will be built using a suite of commercial-off-the-shelf software products, primarily MATLAB, Simulink and the Real-Time Workshop. The architecture will reflect that software implementation. All firms must have a Top Secret facility clearance, Secret safeguarding, and staffing key personnel cleared to secret level and at least two persons from the key personnel labor category (other than Program Manager) must be cleared at Top Secret/Special Background Investigation/Secret Compartmented Intelligence (TS/SBI/SCI) level employees at the time of proposal submission in order to be considered. Submit your capability statement not later than 22 Oct 04 to Kay Burnett at frbursk@ngic.army.mil, teleph one (434) 980-7884.
