Description

The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center, Long Beach, CA is soliciting for the Interpretation of Radiology Films on an as needed basis for after hours, weekends and holidays for VA beneficiaries of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System 901 Rancho Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89106 and the Mike O?Callaghan Federal Hospital 4700 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. The exams will be performed by an on call technical staff and uploaded to the VA AGFA IMPAX system for remote interpretation. Contractor shall provide personnel to interpret radiology exams via teleradiology on CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and General Radiography modalities. Period of coverage will be a base one-year period with two optional one-year periods for renewal. Hours of coverage will be 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and twenty-four (24) hours on Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays. An estimated 2,400 X-ray interpretations are projected per year. The Government reserves the right to add additional VA facilities to the contract if required by VISN 22. This procurement is being conducted under the FAR subpart 13.5 test program. Simplified acquisition procedures apply utilizing a combination of Parts 12, 13, and 15 of the FAR. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Size standard is $11.5 million. All responsive, responsible sources who submit a proposal that is received by November 15, 2004 3:00 PM PST will be considered by the Government. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
