Description

This is PRE-SOLICITATION for a new roof for the Fairbanks Federal Building. The work consists of, but is not limited to roofing work on the Federal Building and Motor Pool Building at 101 12th Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska. The estimated magnitude of the project is from $500,000 to $1,000,000. This range includes bid options. The proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the solicitation, drawings and specifications. Contractors who are interested in recieving a solicitation package to include drawings and specifications must submit a request via fax (907) 271-1941 or e-mail christine.scott@gsa.gov. This notice is for requesting solicitation documents only. The request must include the solicitation number (GS-10P-05-XJC-0005), company name, address, phone, fax and company point of contact. Request for solicitation packages will not be accepted after 4:30 p.m.(Alaska Time) on November 2, 2004. . A bidder's mailing list will be available after that date. The Plans Rooms will have copies on file. The estimated mail out date for the solicitation documents are November 5, 2004. Proposals will be due to the GSA Office 30 days after mail out. Proposal due date and other pertinent bid information will be included in the solicitation documents. Contractors may only request one set of documents. Subcontractors must request copies of the solicitation documents from the Prime Contractor. Any changes to this pre-solicitation notice will be done by modification. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-OCT-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
