- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. It is the U.S. Army's requirement to purchase a near-infrared (NIR) camera system for signature measurements of future combat systems items. The camera systems must be sensitive to light of .9 to 1.7 micrometers wavelength, staring focal plane array with at least 640 x 512 pixels, at least 12 bits of dynamic range and output digital video with snap-shot readout, must have an array with a maximum detector pitch of 25 microns, with an Optic al Fill Factor: greater than 90 percent, must provide software to allow user to perform radiometric calibration and to display temperature. The focal plane array must have plus or minus 99.95 percent operability. The camera must be compatible with Nation al Instruments PCI 1422 Frame Grabbers. The quantity required is one each system. Bidders must provide published price lists and descriptive literature. Delivery must be stated. Any additional conditions such as training and equipment warranties shall be stated. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; and the following claus es apply: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. Evaluation criteria factors are technical, price and past performance. Off ers are due not later than 26 October 2004 at 11:30 AM.
