OC-ALC/LPKPA DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AG1/109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032 2840—SPACER, 14TH STAGE. SOL FA8104-05-Q-48507, OC-ALC/LPKPA, TINKER AFB OK 73145-3032, For additional information contact Greg Harris/LPKPA/ [405]739-5482. Item 0001 NSN 2840-00-799-0113RV, P/N: 389463. SPACER, 14TH STAGE . APPL: TF33 ENGINES. The item description of the 4th stage spacer, spacer compressor. DIM: APPROX. 19.322 INS DIA, 1.869 INS wide. Material: AMS 6304 steel. Function: item maintains distance between compressor disk to allow stators to direct airflow from one stage to the next at the most efficient angle. Destination is Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: FEB 2005. RANGE QUANTITY: 20 EA MIN; 41 EA MED; AND 51 EA MAX. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Only new manufactured material and new/unused surplus material is acceptable. This requirement is a 100 percent small business set aside. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue/response date will be 30 AUG 2004. The anticipated award date will be 17 SEP 2004. This award is contingent on the availability of funds for 2005. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. This procurement will consider the Red-Yellow-Green Program ratings on FSCs in the evaluation of past performance. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
