Description
THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO INCREASE QUANTITIES ON BASE YEAR FROM 157 TO 1217 AND MAXIMUM QUANTITY ROM 2553 TO 3613 PRON: AX4C0615AX, NSN: 2995-01-081-2859, PN: 114P7012-9, QUANTITY: Min 1217, Max: 3613 each, applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to Def Dist. Depot Barstow CA 92311. This item is restricted to `Apex Manufacturing Co. Inc(2V343), Ruscomb Too l & Machine Co. Inc.(07952), and Bodine Tool & Machine Co.(07544), because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, an d manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 157 each, 390 Days After contract Award (DACA).First Article Test Report is due 204 DACA. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 157 each, 216 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 157 each, 390 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encoura ged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of re lease of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not availabl e for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
