Description
Sources Sought Synopsis for small businesses capable of providing maintenance and operation of foreign aviation equipment to include AN-2, MI-2, MI-8, MI-17, MI-24, MI-25, and Velocity XL RG. In order to assess the possibility of a potential small b usiness set-aside, interested parties must provide: 1-Evidence that you have at least five years experience maintainingandhave at least 5 years experience operating the aviation equipment listed above  operation includes former DoDto include rotary/fixed wing instructor pilots with a minimum of 2500 total hours, 1000 instructor pilotIP hours, and 500 NVG flight hours,hours; rotary wing instructor pilots with 5 years experience instructing or evaluating Government, Contractor, and student pilots in advanced Day, Night, and NVG flight techniques, andtechniques; aircrew members sufficient to support a 3000 hour annual flying hour program. You must provideprogram; operations organization capable of supporting multiple, simultaneous deployed operations anywhere within the continental US. 2-Evidence that you have had at least one contract subject to AR 95-20. You must provide evidence that you have at least 5 years experience in aerospace engineering to include at least one contract subject to AR 70-62, and sh ow that you have extensive experience with aircraft modifications for which limited data 20 to include evidence of existing Contractors Flight and Ground Operations Procedures IAW AR 95-20 (Nov 02). 3-Eevidence that you have at least 5 years experience m aintaining the aviation equipment listed above to include maintenance personnel, and maintenance management personnel with a minimum of 5 years exists; extensiveaviation maintenance experience with Army programs; minimum of 5 years maintaining aircraft IAW The Army Maintenance Management System  Aviation (TAMMS-A) standards; maintenance personnel to simultaneously support multiple geographical locations for aviation maintenance, engineering, and operational requirements; maintenance personnel with a minim um of 5 years aviation maintenance experience and an FAA A&P certificate. 4-Evidence that you have a minimum of five years experience in accomplishing Aerospace Engineering on the aircraft listed above to include documented experience working with the De partment of the Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command Aviation Engineering Directorate and AR 70-62 airworthiness process to modify aircraft;and aircraft configuration management process; extensive experience developing documentation associat ed with an airworthiness process; and extensive experience inprocess, and originating and developing the substantiation for Supplemental Type Certificates or Modification Work Orders. Orders; andYou must also provide evidence that you have at least 5 years experience in performing Integrated Logistics Support to include manpower planning, supply management, procurement, transportation, inventory management, property management, property disposal, and logistics support analysis. The applicable NAICS Code is 488190, Size Standard $6M. Historical data indicates the following workload; at least 3000 annual flight hours; 3 aircraft overhauls; and 112 scheduled and 28 phased main tenance inspections annually.
