- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation Number W911N2-05-T-0008 is applicable issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). (III) The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Fed eral Acquisition Circular 2001-25. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set aside under Standard Industrial Classification Code 3537, NAICS Code 432830. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced type contract under FAR P art 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. (V) COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: Fork Truck, Electric, Four Directional Reach Side Loader, Series Quaddro Stretch Model EVU 44/40/130 or EQUAL. Truck to contain the following: Forks, standard steel will stop with 1 clearance from bottom of fork to floor in lowest lowered position. 1 SET - Lights, for on Baumann Mast Fork Truck or equal, 1 PAIR, Spotlight, for on top of fork truck cab, adjustable by the operator from inside cab. 1 EACH in accordance with the following Statement of Work: Standard equipment includes comfortable drivers sit down compartment, operator facing travel direction, with power steering. Entrance to cab from Side. This four-directional truck can be driven in all directions, forward, reverse, sideways left and righ t, without any turning radius. It also can turn within its own length or be driven as a conventional lift truck. One Mosfet controller for traction and hydraulic pump motor. Two drive motors 4 HP each. Service brake system. Battery discharge indica tor with lift interrupt, hour meter, horn, key switch and travel direction indicator lights. Correction of mast deflection by frame tilt is +/-1 inch. Additional fork tilt is +7/-3 degrees. Batteries and Battery Charger: Series Quaddro requires one battery per truck. (48 Volt, 24 Cells) 500Ah, 25.8 KWh, 48 Volt, 2,200 pounds Charger with automatic start/stop. No deviations to specifications will be accepted. This forklift must be ordered exac tly to the above specifications. The forklift must be able to meet the following: a. Ability to haul an ATACMS, MLRS or GMLRS missile through Bldg. 3810 b. Close tolerance-working conditions at the buildings and igloos c. More adaptable to narrow passageways d. More open visibility than other models when handling load e.
