Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Service Agreement for service and maintenance of emergency repairs of four (4) Central Chillers Carrier 19XR Machines for fiscal year 2005, Bureau of Engraving and Printing is requesting HOURLY CHARGE AND LABOR CHARGE for emergency or unscheduled repairs on a flat charge for annual repairs, and a flat charge for quarterly repairs (charge per quarter times four (4) quarters). The resulting purchase order shall be a not to exceed price billable at established rates for emergency or unscheduled repairs, a flat annual fee for those repairs performed annually, and a quarterly fee times four (4) for those repairs performed quarterly. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to BEP Washington, DC. The resulting Purchase Order shall be Firm Fixed Price. Award shall be made to the responsible; technically acceptable offeror who is lowest in price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNs number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due on November 05, 2004 by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard time. Quotations may be mailed to the BEP Office of Procurement, Attn: Christina Tayman, 14th and C Sts, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001 or faxed to Christina Tayman at (202) 874-2200 or (202) 874-3235.
