Description

This is a preliminary notice of the Bureau of Engraving’s (BEP) Fort Worth, Texas facility’s requirement to procure uniform rental and laundering services (along with the bar-coding requirement) which are to be worn by the BEP Fort Worth, Texas facility employees. A full and open competitive solicitation is planned. BEP anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite (IDIQ) type Performance Based Service Contract for a base period of twelve months with four (4) twelve month option periods. This procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. The source selection decision will be based upon price and other non-price-related factors. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or before Wednesday May 6, 2004. The BEP is posting this announcement, as well as the solicitation on GSA’s Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Internet site at: (http://www.eps.gov). Interested offerors are encouraged to register for FedBizOpps electronic notification for issuance of the final solicitation, amendments and /or changes to this notice.
