Description

This is a solicitation for sources for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-18. This acquisition is restricted 100% to small business and is under North American Industry Classification System code 332311, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for the purchase of (2) vehicle covers. The basic requirement: provide all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, material, transportation, and other items and services necessary to supply and erect 2 temporary metal vehicle covers complete with concrete pads. Cover 1 is 40? wide by 20? long by 10? high. Surface pad will hold four (4) all purpose vehicles. Cover 2 is 30? wide by 60? long by 12? high. Surface pad will hold two (2) pickups with 30? trailers. The framing will consist of 2? by 3? 10 gauge steel placed on 5? centers. The roof sheeting shall consist of 24 gauge steel and will completely cover the top area. The sides shall be covered to within 3? of the ground. The frame will be anchored with anchor screws. The covers will be warranted for 1 year. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 303J AVE, BLDG 302, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 1230 (1230 P.M) CST, 05 Nov 2004. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138, ATTN: DERIC HARRIS. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Jun 2003) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, please request one from the point of contact, and a copy will be faxed. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003).
