Description

This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source order with Congressional Quarterly, Inc., Washington, D.C., for continued subscription access to CQ.COM for: CQ Weekly, CQ Budget Tracker, CQ BillTrack and Custom Bill Reports, CQ Bill Comparison, and other proprietary CQ informational products. MacDill AFB intends to issue a purchase order to Congressional Quarterly, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1?only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A solicitation package is not available. Additionally, FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) applies, i.e., a substantial duplication of cost to the Government and an unacceptable delay would result in attempting to compete this requirement instead of not continuing with the provision of these highly specialized services from CQ.
