Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Site Activation Command, Alaska, SAC-AK, has an immediate requirement for continued cellular phone service, period of performance 1 December 2004 to 30 November 2005-FY05, and four 1- year options. Provide cellular phone service, technical support and equipment/accessory replacement. SAC-AK currently has a digital cellular phone program with 62 active digital cellular phones. These cellular phones are located in various offices througho ut Alaska. Provide Nationwide coverage, the following areas must have exceptional reception: Anchorage area, Fort Richardson, Elmendorf AFB, Fairbanks area, Fort Wainwright, Delta Junction, Fort Greely, The Missile complex adjacent Fort Greely, The road sy stem in Alaska, Kodiak, Huntsville, AL, Washington DC, Colorado Springs, CO, The State of California; this coverage must be during all 24 hours of the day. Scope of work to be accomplished: provide digital cellular service to the currently active digital c ellular phones, add additional phones to the service throughout the Calendar Year as required by SAC-AK without activation and/or cancellation fees for individual phones, nationwide coverage without roaming or long distance charges, if a different Vendor i s awarded the 2006 contract, arrange for a single location within the Alaska District, for District employees to bring their phones for the transfer of services and new assignment of numbers, provide special pricing plans, if available, that will be all en compassing, no activation fees for replacement phones, transfer of phone numbers from one provider to another without activation and/or cancellation fees, voice mail service, call Forwarding, caller ID, call waiting, text Messaging, free mobile to mobile-s ame account, billing to be identified separately by individual cellular numbers rolled up into one monthly bill, billing to be supplied hard copy. Clin 0001- Cellular Phone Service: Provide cellular phone service and technical support for (62) cell phones currently in operation and all new or added cell phones by Site Activation Command-Alaska (GMS) staff members, as prescribed in the SOW. Currently most cell phones are under 450 minutes per month, however, some exceed these minutes a few months and then use less other months. Please provide special pricing plans, if available, that will be all encompassing, example: 450 minutes, 1500 minutes, or grou p rates. This is a one year contract with four (4) 1-year options, beginning 01 December 2004 through 30 November 2005 (FY 05). *****Government Agency- No Taxes To Be Charged In Monthly Billing***** Clin 0002 Cell Phones and Accessories: Car chargers-1 ea, Batteries-1 ea, Carrying Case-1 ea, Hands-free head set-1 ea, Cell Phones-1 ea;list Brand___________and Model___________. Provide pricing for base year and each 1-year option for Clin 0001 and Clin 0002. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
