Description

The Government intends to award a 5 year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price contract for Vise, Bench and Pipe, NSN: 5120-01-140-2395, which will be used on the Hydraulic System Test and Repair Unit (HSTRU). The vise shall operate in accordance with the manufacturers standard operating procedures; jaws will withstand a load of no less than 1600 inch pounds without distortion of the vise or any components; jaw faces that are a Rockwell C hardness of 52 to 58; body casting of no less than 50,000 psi; be no greater than 20 inches wide by 10 inches deep by 10 inches high; jaw width of no less than 4.00 inches; jaw opening of no less than 4.00 inches; capable of securely gripping standard pipe sizes ? inch nominal to 2 ? inch nominal; weight of no more than 45 pounds; consist of a body with back jaw, front jaw, vise screw, nut, sliding member, screw handle, base jaw facings and jaw caps. The maximum quantity will be 2000 each. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 35 each. All quantities will be delivered to New Cumberland, PA. FOB is destination.
