Description

The dental contract shall consist of providing routine dental care, from 8 to 12 hours a week for 48 weeks per year and for all students at the Weber Basin Job Corps, Ogden, Utah. The Dental Services contract requires one Dentist (licensed with the state of Utah). A dental assistant is provided by the Weber Basin Job Corps Center, and is not included in this contract. The Contractor is required to develop a treatment plan for each student, provide preventive dental health education which will promote good oral hygiene techniques (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and rinsing instruction); 24-hour emergency coverage and other services as described in the Solicitation. All employees providing dental care services must enjoy working with young people ages 16-24 years old of varying ethnic and socioeconomic background. Weber Basin Job Corps will provide facilities, equipment, and all supplies required by this contract. The contractor is to provide quality services, timeliness, courtesy, perform and provide customer satisfaction. The contract is for a base year and 4 one-year options. The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 621210. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government.
