Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, in support of Ship Repair Facility, Yokosuka, Japan, intends to procure shipboard approved furniture. Furniture pieces include: lockers and subbase, stowage containers and assemblies, berth units and subbase, fan assemblies, and cover panels. All furniture supplied must meet MIL-STD-1623, Habitability for Shipboard Applications. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. This acquisition shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, and shall be set aside exclusively for small business under NAICS 337124, size standard 500. All materials shall be delivered FOB Destination to Travis A.F.B, CA. 94535, no later than 5 January 2005. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
