Description

This acquisition is to provide Facilities Operations and Maintenance services at the USCG Training Center, Petaluma, CA. The successful offeror will provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the service requirements which includes maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, Electrical Systems, Heating & Cooling Systems, Food Service Equipment, Sewage Systems and Utility Systems at the USCG Training Center, Petaluma, CA. The period of performance will be from 01 January 2005 through 30 September 2005. There will be four (4) one year option periods; If all options are exercised the contract term will end on 30 September 2009. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the government. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. This contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will be proposed 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. . The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990 with a size standard of $12 million. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG89-05-R-QE2001. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available electronically by accessing http://www.eps.gov/ on or about October 7, 2004. No paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will be distributed. This acquisition was previously advertised under solicitation HSCG89-04-R-QE2001 as a 100% Hub Zone Set aside and is being re-solicited as a small business Set-Aside. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining any amendments from that site.
