Description

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Provide services to perform Resource Efficiency Management Services. Resource Efficiency Management (REM) Services provides for energy technical professionals. The REM will be located on site at a federal facility and char ged with reducing the consumption of resources such as natural gas, electricity, water and fuel oil, as well as researching, recommending alternative energy resources, and identifying alternative public and private means of funding energy conservation proj ects. The REM also identifies other savings by evaluating utility billing errors. The REM works in cooperation with existing energy/engineering staff to focus on five essential areas: Energy and Measurement accounting; Energy Policies and Incentive Prog rams; Building Energy Monitor Programs and Installation or facility-wide training and promotion of energy conservation activities, projects and programs; Installation Sustainability Team Efforts as it relates to energy and infrastruture. DESCRIPTION OF SOLICITATION: This contract is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract with a base plus 4 option years. The initial Period of Performance is expected to be 1 April 2005 through 31 March 2006, with each option, if exercised, beginning o n 1 April of each year. The proposed procurement listed here is unrestricted. NAICS Code: 541960, The size standard for a small business is defined as any concern including its affiliates with an average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three f iscal years not in excess of $6 million per year.
