Description

The Contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, management, supervision, testing equipment, permits, and licenses as required to obtain a complete and effective Maintenance, Repair and Inspection Program for chlorinating systems located in Buildings 307 CP (Base Pool) and 403 CP (Buttercup Damage Control Training Pool) at Naval Station, Newport, Rhode Island. This is a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity contract which includes a base period with the provision of four (4), one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government?s discretion without further notice and will include the FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 811219. The Small Business Size standard is $6 million. The no-cost Request for Quotations (RFQ) package will be available on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation website (www.esol.navfac.navy.mil) . The ?Issue and Quote Due Dates? stated in this notice are approximate dates. Email notification will be provided from the website upon availability of the RFQ and any subsequent amendments. Interested contractors, recording companies, and blueprint companies must register on the website to download the solicitation. The Official Planholders list will be maintained on-line and will not be faxed. Questions regarding this solicitation MUST be submitted in writing and faxed to (401) 841-1349 to the attention of Karen Sampson or e-mailed to Karen.Sampson@navy.mil . All contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database to be eligible for contract award. Verification of registration in the CCR Database must be submitted with the bid.
