Description

The work includes replacing the existing 20 Amp, 50KW airfield lighting regulators for runways 05R and 23R with new 6.6 Amp regulators. The existing isolation transformers for all of the lights and signs on these two runways will be changed from 20 Amp primary transformers to 6.6 Amp primary transformers. The one circuit for runway 23R will be converted into two circuits and will require two regulators to replace the one existing 20 Amp regulator. Each runway is approximately 8,000 feet long and 200 feet wide. The lights are a combination of elevated L-862S and Semi-flush L-850S. The regulators will be installed in the existing airfield lighting vault and will be 208V input units.
