Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Aeronautical Charting Office (NACO) is seeking competent and qualified sources to develop a Software Program to convert the Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File (DAFIF) to the ARINC 424 Navigation Data Base, code Instrument Flight Procedures in the ARINC 424 Navigation Data Base Supplement -15 and -18 standards for Departure Procedures (DPs), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) and ILS, LOC and RNAV (GPS) Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs). The requirements are defined by the Performance Work Statement (SIR Attachment A). The acquisition will be facilitated by an indefinite quantity requirements contract for the base year and four one-year option years to acquire the software conversion program, software code, consulting services, and ARINC 424 coded instrument flight procedures. The support services are required beginning 1st quarter FY 2005 for one year, and follow-on support by four (4) one-year option periods. This is a competitive acquisition and qualified sources that are interested in competing for this requirement must complete and submit the attached Screening Information Request (SIR). The information obtained from the SIR and attachments will be utilized to determine the lowest price technically acceptable source to meet the requirement. Therefore all interested sources must complete the SIR in accordance with the instructions to represent their qualifications, experience, technical solutions, and prices.
