Description

Under the authority of FAR Pat 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the VA Medical Center at 7305 N. MIlitary Trial West Palm Beach, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems located at 8 Cobble Glen Court Durham, NC 27713, to provide multi-level maintenance and repair service to three (3) Diagnost 76 R/F, four (4) BV29 mobile C-Arm's and one (1) MD3000 Mammo. Service to include full maintenance/certification services on Philips equipment, in accordance with manufacturer?s specifications. Maintenance shall be performed by manufacturer trained service engineers. Service shall also include telephone support, PM's, and discounted parts and glassware. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties have seven (7) calendar days from publication of this notice to submit, in writing, their qualifications and capabilities. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Fax responses to the attention of the Contracting Officer at 561-422-6507. Oral communications will not be accepted. If there are no responses to this notice within seven (7) calendar days, negotiations will commence with Philips Medical Systems.
