Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Mitratech Incorporated, 3539 Motor Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034 for the requirements specified herein under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-2, as the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. SSA requires renewal of proprietary Government-owned TeamConnect software effective December 20, 2004 through December 19, 2005. TeamConnect is an application configured for National Docketing Management Information System (NDMIS) that is used in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). NDMIS allows the staff to track legal matter activities and personnel time associated with the legal matters. The software is located in OGC offices at SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD, Falls Church, VA and ten (10) Regional Offices. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received by the response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
