Description

Defense Information Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a SOLE-SOURCE firm-fixed price contract for a 12-month base period development of sector-specific guidance on security vulnerability assessment for critical asset protection for use by owners/operators and supportive of Department of Homeland Security goals. The proposed contractor is ASME, Three Park Avenue, FL 23, New York, NY 10016-5990. ASME has unique building standards and methodologies for critical infrastructure and has produced the ?ASME Guidance on Risk Analysis and Management for Critical Infrastructure Protection?. Part of the objective is to create a set of sector-specific security assessment tools that are based upon specific metrics and employ specific, defined consequence generators and evaluate several given points for the eight categories of assets defined. The base year period of performance is 1 year from date of award and the place of performance is the ASME Branch in Washington D.C. This acquisition is reserved for NAICS: 611430.
