Description

The Government has intentions of contracting with General Dynamic Armament and Technical Products (05606) for 82 each of 5999-01-337-9253, P/N 197C8159. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of November 1, 2004 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Since it is anticipated that the terms and conditions of General Dynamics? BOA will be used, a formal RFP was not issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal for the approved parts, General Dynamics (05606) P/N 197C8159, which will be considered. The letter RFP opens on November 1, 2004 and closes at 1:00 p.m. on December 3, 2004. The solicitation is for 82 each connector-switches, includes price breaks covering quantities of 40 to 120, and contains a 100% quantity option. The FOB point and inspection and acceptance points are origin and the delivery requirement is 240 days. See Numbered Notes 12, 22, and 26
