Description

Under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the VA Medical Center located at 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. The VA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Solutions, USA, Inc. located at 51 Valley Stream Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355 to provide and install a software PET package for the Leonardo Workstation previously purchased. This package is required as proper interpretation of PET/CT requires ability to view images ?fused? (CT and PET volume date) in 3D and multiple planes. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet this requirement. Interested parties have until November 8, 2004 to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. If there are no responses to this notice within the time designated, negotiations will commence with Siemens Medical Solutions, USA, Inc.
