- This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research purposes only. For the purposes of this RFI, the NAICs code is 561612 and the small business size standard is $10.5M. The Government is soliciting information to determine the availability of contractors capable of providing armed security guard services necessary to support Installation Entry Control (IEC), Visitor Control Center (VCC), and Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) requirements in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). Please note, the draft SOW is subject to revision. Contractors must be capable of recruiting, training, and mobilizing large numbers of armed security guards at multiple locations, simultaneously in diverse geographic locations. Teaming arrangements and/or joint ventures are acceptable. The Government intends to hold an Industry Day for this function in the near future; additional details are forthcoming. The Government requests that contractors interested and capable of performing this function submit the following: 1) point of contact with current phone/fax number and e-mail address, business size, and special small business designation (veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HubZone, 8(a), disadvantaged, or woman-owned), if applicable, 2) business capability statement, and 3) contract references relevant to the requirement, detailing the contractor's ability to provide the services or similar services referenced above, to include contract number, agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, whether or not you were the prime or subcontractor, number of armed security guards provided under the contract, and the amount of time taken to fully mobilize armed security guards. Please limit your response to two (2) pages or less.
