Description

The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement for Add/Alter Building 315 for Pararescue (PJ) Operations Squadron, Portland International Airport  Portland ANG Base, Oregon. This project is open to both large and small business. T his requirement will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations System (FAR) Part 15.101-2 entitled Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process.  Proposed procurement will result in award of a firm fixed price contract. The estimated period of performance is 365 days. The project description is as follows: The 939 RQS requires modifications to the existing Pararescue Squadron Operations Facili ty in order to support additional personnel associated with establishment of the unit as a geographically separated squadron and the addition of combat rescue officers. The project consists of new construction, i.e., exterior pavement improvements, reinfo rced concrete foundation, concrete exterior walls, standing seam metal roof, and associated internal utility systems upgrades. Administrative space will be created within the existing squadron operations facility by relocating interior walls and modifying utility runs. Secure squadron intelligence office will be constructed and squadron life support maintenance and storage areas will be created. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233320, and the Standard Industry Classifica tion (SIC) Code is 1542 with size standard of $28.5 Million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments.
