Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) intends to award a Firm-fixed Price Contract (FFP) for the Modernization of Elevator(s) numbers 1 and 2 located within the United States Capitol Police (USCP) Headquarters Building (HQ), Washington, DC. The Contract work includes the modernization of electrical/mechanical systems as well as material upgrades for two (2) traction elevators in the USCP HQ building. Work will include the installation of new electrical and mechanical components, manufactured car enclosures, hall fixtures, and systems for communication and monitoring of the elevators. The Government will furnish infra-red photoelectric curtains. POINT OF CONTACT FOR COPIES OF THE RFP SHALL BE ADDRESSED TO CAROLYN HORNE VIA EMAIL (CHORNE@AOC.GOV). The RFP will be issued on/or about November 20, 2004 with an approximate closing date for receipt of proposals to be December 20, 2004. Site Visit and pre-proposal details will be included within the RFP. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Vendors are cautioned to include your company name/point of contact/telephone number/facsimile number, and email address when requesting a copy of the RFP. NO TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED!
